I am a lawyer specialized in technology, intellectual property and business law, with over 20 years of international professional experience gained through private practice, work with European and international institutions, dispute resolution and policy-related activities.

I am qualified as a lawyer in Italy (avvocato) and Hungary (ügyvéd) and I advise companies, startups, industry associations and public bodies on legal issues arising from innovation, digital transformation and international commercial activities.

Professional profile

My career has developed at the intersection of:

• Technology and Digital Law and Regulation, including Internet governance, domain names, online enforcement, cybersecurity, data protection and privacy, and platform-related legal issues;
• Intellectual Property Law, with a focus on trademarks, designs, patents, trade secrets, copyright, and geographical indications, and their protection offline and online;
• International Business and Commercial Law, including cross-border contracts, company formation and structuring, licensing, agency and distribution, and complex commercial agreements;
• Dispute Resolution and ADR, both judicial and alternative, at national and international level.

For many years, I have been actively involved in international arbitration, mediation and online dispute resolution, serving as arbitrator, mediator and domain name panelist, and contributing to the development and application of ADR mechanisms in intellectual property and technology-related disputes.

Institutional and policy work

I am an external consultant to the European Commission and author of comparative legal studies and policy reports, notably in the fields of Internet law, intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution.

This work has given me a deep understanding of EU regulatory processes and of the interaction between law, technology and policy-making.
